Anita Ekberg has lived and worked on the Bellarine Peninsula since 2001.
In her entertaining talk, she shared the adventures of her life so far (with husband and three children) whilst navigating a diverse career including chef, managing nightclubs, flight attendant & trainer with Ansett, makeup artist & skin specialist with Christian Dior which led her to her volunteer and advocate work with Look Good, Feel Better.
Look Good Feel Better is a national cancer-support program. They offer free in-person and online workshops and Confidence Kits to help people with any type of cancer manage the most common physical and psychological impacts of treatment. In providing practical tips and tools, they help connect a community of people living a shared experience; empowering them to regain control, confidence, and a sense of self.
Locally, Anita is better known as part of Coastyle Building Solutions, a multi-award-winning
building company based on the Bellarine Peninsula. She has gained recognition for her interior design work, and many Coastyle homes have won prestigious awards, representing Victoria on a larger scale.
