Did you know there are sixty-eight wineries in the Geelong and Bellarine region?

There are twenty Coffee Roasters from Geelong to Torquay. The only international tea master in Australia resides in Geelong.

Geelong is one of only 49 cities who have been awarded a member of UNESCO City of Design (and the only city in Australia with this honour)

Our guest speaker in May 2025, June OBrien, shared a plethora of information with us about the beautiful Bellarine & Geelong region and its offerings. Her enthusiasm and knowledge of food and wine experiences was endless.

She connects local artisan producers with not only visitors to the region, but also to international tourism delegates, diplomats and young people interested in developing a career in tourism.

June's talk was so entertaining and she shared that at the heart of what she does is a deep belief in the power of collaboration and connection. "By working together we can shine a spotlight on the Geelong and Bellarine region—not just as a destination, but as a true food and wine destination."
